Liquitex Gesso
Liquitex Gesso is a high quality acrylic gesso used to prepare painting surfaces for acrylic and oil paint.
It adheres to a wide variety of supports such as canvas, paper and wood.
It creates the perfect tooth, is non-yellowing, flexible and will not crack.
Liquitex Gesso can be used as is or diluted with water by up to 25%. It can also be mixed with Liquitex Medium or High Viscosity Artist Colours to produce a range of coloured bases. It is available in White, Black, Burnt Umber and Unbleached Titanium.
Liquitex Clear Gesso can be used as sizing or ground. It dries clear or translucent, depending on its thickness.
It can be used when an artist wants the surface they are working on to remain visible.
It is flexible, non-cracking and will not yellow when it dries.
Liquitex Gesso adheres to a wide variety of supports such as canvas, paper, wood or any surface that is clean, porous and non-oily.
It has an ideal high tooth finish for pastel, graphite, and charcoal.
Liquitex Clear Gesso can be mixed with a very small amount of transparent or translucent acrylic color to tint the ground while maintaining its transparency.
