Chinese Ink Sticks

    Chinese Ink Sticks are made using the traditional method of burning and compressing vegetable oils or pine wood with
    resins.
    Then an animal glue is added to the soot and then the stick is dried.
    The ink stick is than used with a traditonal stone palette and water is added to create an ink wash.
