Liquitex Gloss Medium: This medium viscosity, all purpose medium has been formulated for mixing with any acrylic paint. It helps to enhance the depth of colour intensity, increase transparency, gloss, ease flow of paint and add flexibility and adhesion to paint films. It can be used as a non-removable varnish to protect paintings and establish gloss surfaces. It is a 100% acrylic polymer varnish that is translucent and water soluble when wet and transparent when dry with good chemical and water resistance. When dry it is also a non-tacky, hard, flexible surface that is resistant to dirt, discoloration due to humidity, heat and ultraviolet light (non-yellowing and non-fogging). Depending upon substrates, it is breathable allowing moisture to pass through. Gloss Medium and Polymer will not crack as a surface expands and contracts due to temperature and humidity changes. It is applicable to any surface flexible and in-flexible.
Liquitex Matte Medium: This medium viscosity medium creates
a matte, non-reflective finish when added to acrylic colours. Mix it into any acrylic
paint to increase transparency, matte and film integrity, extend color, ease flow
of paint and add flexibility and adhesion of paint film. Mix Matte Medium with
Gloss Medium & Varnish to produce a semi-gloss or satin medium. It is opaque when
wet and translucent when dry.
Liquitex Matte Opaque Extender Medium: This medium dries to a matte sheen. It doubles the volume of Medium
Viscosity Concentrated Artist Color by adding up to equal parts (50%) of the medium
to colors with little or no noticeable loss in colour intensity. The degree to which colours can be extended will vary according to pigments
used. When over 50% Matte Opaque Extender is added it can act as a weak tinting
white, increasing the value of the original colour approximately one level. Light
colours will be affected less than dark colors.
Liquitex Iridescent/Pearlescent Medium: This medium produces
a range of iridescent or metallic colours when mixed with acrylic paints. It is
opaque when wet and dries transparent/translucent.
Liquitex Fabric Medium: This medium is used to enhance the workability
of acrylic paints on fabric. It controls the bleeding of colours thinned with water
and provides a smooth, consistent flow to Medium Viscosity Artist Colour. It prevents
uneven application of paint to roughly textured fabrics and reduces the stiffness
of dried acrylic paint. Fabric medium does not require heat setting to make it permanent.
Liquitex Slow-Dri Blending Medium: This is a unique
formulation that extends drying time up to 40% for superior surface blending with
acrylic paints. It adds flow to High Viscosity Professional Artist Colour. Mix any amount into colour
to enhance the depth of color intensity, increase transparency, gloss, ease flow
of paint, and add flexibility and adhesion to paint films. It dries clear to reveal
full, rich color. Unlike retarding additives, any quantity may be added to colors
without jeopardizing the strength of the paint film. Translucent when wet, transparent,
flexible, non-yellowing and water resistant when dry.
Liquitex Slow-Dri Blending Gel Medium: is a unique

It is similar in body to High Viscosity Professional Artists Colour. Mix any amount
into acrylic color to enhance the depth of color intensity, increase transparency,
gloss, and add flexibility and adhesion to the paint film. It dries clear to reveal

without jeopardizing the strength of the paint film. Translucent when wet, transparent,
flexible, non-yellowing and water resistant when dry.
Liquitex Glazing Medium: has been designed for creating
brilliant jewel like glazes with acrylic artist colours. It has excellent leveling qualities which helps it to dry quickly for rapid layering. Mix it with any amount
of acrylic colour. For best results use transparent or translucent colours with Glazing Medium. Glazing medium is
flexible, non-yellowing and water resistant when dry.
