Winsor & Newton Artists' Watercolour
William Winsor and Henry Newton introduced the first moist watercolour in 1832. Presently, Winsor & Newton watercolours are one of the most frequently chosen watercolours by professional artists around the world.
The Artists' Watercolour range offers a wide, balanced spectrum of 91 colours. Each colour has been specifically selected to offer the greatest choice to suite all artists. Each colour within the range has an individual formulation of high performance pigments ensuring excellent strength, brilliance of colour and stability. Single pigment formulations have been used where possible to ensure cleaner, brighter mixes.
Permanent alternatives have been developed for the less durable traditional colours, without compromising handling properties. Therefore, 88 of the 91 colors are now classified as permanent. Winsor and Newton watercolours are available in 5ml and 15ml tubes.
