Winsor & Newton Cotman Half Pan Watercolor

W&N Cotman Pan colours are often used by beginners and artists who work outdoors because they can be easier to control and easier to transport. They have been formulated to ensure their ability to release colour controllably. In hot, humid climates, pan colours will absorb moisture and soften. In extreme humidity, mildew may be a problem. In such cases, leave the box open. Mildew can be discouraged by the inclusion of a sheet of blotting paper sprinkled with a mild disinfectant. For similar reasons, in normal weather, colours should be allowed to dry out before shutting the box.
